The dreams do not stop the entire time she's in Tra Bong
She dreams of blood and fire, of being pressed against a door, of (lips and tongue and hands and teeth) Ruin. She dreams that Julian crushes her throat with one hand. That Fiona buries that lovely axe in her face. That they both cut out her heart.
She dreams that she can draw a sword from her back (only four now) and fights on battlefields she's never seen. She sees Ramon in black (fur) armor on a warhorse and she waves. To her surprise, he waves back.
She dreams of sunbathing on Jack's island, of flying with Raven, of a city in winter.
She dreams of the Bar and the lake and the Master Shark.
Mostly, she dreams that there isn't a name carved into her chest.
And every time she wakes, she finds it isn't so.
At some point, there's only so much you can stand.
She isn't solving anything staying here. She'd left to clear her head and all she's done is think about the people she left behind. She should never have left in the first place.
After a quick supply run on the aid station, she shoulders her gear and heads north.
Take what you want and pay for it, says God.
