Well, folks, we're out of the forshadowing stage and into the frying pan. What does all this mean for Mary Anne/you/your pups/etc.?

- As part of the Tarot, Mary Anne is now immortal. She can still take injury (and possibly even illness--my mental jury is still out on that one), and it may hurt like hell but it won't kill her. Generally, all wounds will heal overnight. Anything life threatening (ex. nearly severed limb, severe burns) she can speed up the healing for, though it will take a lot out of her and there will still be evidence of the wounds the next day (ex. faint scarring, what looks like a bad sunburn).

- The key physical changes are her tattoo (which looks something like this) and her eyes are now a brighter shade of blue. They don't glow in the dark or anything that exciting, but it's clear they are different than before. For those who've never met Mary Anne prior to this change, it's still obvious that this is not a human eye color. To blend in in out-of-Bar plots surroundings, she can tone the color down, but it will leave her with a killer headache afterwards.

- Personality-wise, not much has changed. She's still the same flirtatious, friendly, slightly crazy person she was before--only now it's the semi-clairvoyant version 2.0. While perceptiveness is a trademark of her card, she will NOT know things just by looking at people. That requires a deliberate focusing on her part. However, while she is still adjusting to her abilities, she won't be able to determine in advance what she'll find out--example: she focuses on Ramon in an effort to learn about Topic A, and instead finds out about his son Emanuel. This is NOT an ability I'm going to be whipping out every five minutes, due to MA's own fear/nervousness where this is involved as well as my reluctance to beat everyone about the head with it.

Aside from her haphazard method of finding things out, like all cards she has a Tarot deck of her own and might cast the cards for your character. While it's not something she'll be doing every five minutes, she may offer to do it, or a pup who knows about said readings may ask for one. An offer/request IN THREAD is NO GUARANTEE of a reading; I respect the fact that you may not want one, and depending on my time constrants (as I'm gearing back up for college) I may not be able to do the reading right then. However, if you bug me on IM/email/LJ about arranging a reading thread, I will do my damnedest to make it happen.
