solo recon # 34
Oct. 5th, 2005 06:03 pmShe's been watching the bunker for two days. No one has come or gone in all that time--not even to sneak out for a piss. She still doesn't know if it belongs to the Americans or Viet Cong.
It's a strange looking thing: more concrete and steel than she's seen on anything else this far in-country. That's what attracted her attention in the first place, the lack of activity convincing her to stay. If it really was abandoned, there might be things left she could use to resupply. But she wasn't sure. So she waited.
No movement in two days.
She's waiting a few more hours. Then she's trying the door.
