She unlocks the door to her room and slips inside, pushing the door gently shut with her foot.
Ruin is asleep in her (their) bed. She sits down on the edge next to him and watches him sleep, hands (shaking) resting on her lap.

I had two children, neither of which I wanted. I can only hope I want these two future ones.
Sorrow had never faulted him for his lack of warmth and fatherly love, but he always thought she was the Three of Swords because of the deep sorrow she carried with her because of him.

She'd spent the last few years deeply terrified of getting pregnant, but somehow the thought is less scary when you know how the kid turns out.
She's not ready yet by any means, but definitely less afraid.
